Aleix Vidal’s agent has spent the day in Sevilla as his return to the club from Barcelona looks set to be completed, say reports in Spain.
The 28-year-old initially joined the Blaugrana from the Andalucian club in the summer of 2015 for a €28m which included add-ons.
However, Vidal has failed to make an impact, starting only 14 La Liga games and has played second fiddle to Dani Alves, Sergi Roberto and Nelson Semedo.
A report in Radio Marca on Thursday stated Alejandro Campano – the player’s agent – has been attempting to conclude a deal this week.
Roma, Inter and Valencia had also been linked to the former Almeria player but a return to Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan now appears to be close.
