Zinedine Zidane believes ‘things are going well’ at Real Madrid after collecting another ‘Coach of the Year’ award in Dubai.
The Madrid Coach won the title in the Globe Soccer Awards after a record-breaking year for Los Blancos, as they won five trophies in a calendar year for the first time in their history.
“I want to thank everyone who has played a part for me to receive this award,” Zidane told the awards ceremony.
“I am here representing Real Madrid, our president and our players, but this award is an honour both for me personally and for the club.
“That I have won this demonstrates things are going well and I must thank all the players for this, and the president for giving me the opportunity to be in this position.
“I have won a lot of trophies but this job is a very difficult one and I am extremely proud.”
