Sevilla want Uruguayan Rogel

Sevilla are weighing up a move for Nacional defender and Uruguayan youth international Agustin Rogel in January, according to reports in Spain.

The 20-year-old has broken into the first-team squad at the Uruguayan giants this year, but has only made 16 professional appearances so far.

The central defender, who stands at 190cm, helped Uruguay’s Under-20 international side to the Sudamericano Under-20 title earlier this year.

El Desmarque report the Andalucians are hoping to line-up a deal for the defender but face two major stumbling blocks for his signature.

Rogel does not possess a European passport while his release clause at the club is reported to be in the region of €1.5m.
