Barcelona are said to be keeping tabs on highly-rated Benfica forward Umaro Embalo despite reports he has already agreed a deal with Manchester United.
The 16-year-old can play in any position across the front three but is most prominently used on the right wing and has attracted attention from several European clubs.
Last month, several British media outlets reported United had agreed a deal for the Guinea-Bissau born forward yet a fresh report in Marca on Wednesday today suggested this was not the case.
Barca have reportedly been tracking the forward but have ‘no intention’ of signing him next month, leaving any future approach until the summer at least.
Embalo has scored 15 goals in 18 games for Portugal's Under-17 side and had a 26-minute cameo against United in the UEFA Youth League this season., while his playing style is likened to former Real Madrid playmaker Angel Di Maria.
