Betis approach Juande Ramos

Real Betis have already made contact with former Coach Juande Ramos as uncertainty grows around Quique Setien’s position at the club.

Los Verdiblancos are without a win in their last six matches in a run which included a Copa Del Rey exit to Cadiz, a 5-0 defeat at Eibar and a loss at lowly Las Palmas.

Ramos, who was most recently at Malaga until December 2016, previously coached the Seville-based club in the 2001-02 season, before going on to manage city rivals Sevilla and Real Madrid, among others.

A report in Diario AS reports Ramos has already been contacted by Betis, who previously wanted to appoint the Coach in previous campaigns, as support of Setien reportedly dwindles.
