Liverpool have put a price tag of €145m on Philippe Coutinho, who is still a primary target for Barcelona, according to reports in Spain.
Friday’s front pages of El Mundo Deportivo and Diario Sport – the two main Catalan sports newspapers – both stated the English club would be willing to sanction a deal for such a fee.
Mundo Deportivo put €145m as the exact asking price with Sport stating ‘the operation’ would require between €130m and €150m from the Catalan giants.
The Blaugrana are said to be keen to sign the Brazilian playmaker as soon as possible and will make an approach in January’s transfer window.
Coutinho submitted a transfer request during summer in light of Barca’s interest.
