Lucas Vazquez believes Zinedine Zidane has struck the right balance with his rotation balance as everone has ‘maximum motivation levels’.
The winger was handed a start for Madrid’s 6-0 victory at APOEL Nicosia on Tuesday night, which the Spanish international believes can help them recover their form domestically.
“This is a result which will help us a lot,” Vazquez is quoted as telling Marca.
“We have a fantastic squad with lots of desire and competition, so whenever we are chosen for selection we have maximum motivation levels.
“This victory will be big for us going forward and will hopefully propel us to more victories and success, because that is what we need right now.
“This team needs Cristiano and Benzema to be scoring goals, to have confidence because when they do, there is nobody better.”
