Toni Kroos has credited his ‘extremely strong’ relationship with Coach Zinedine Zidane as fundamental for his form.
The German international has played in 67 games for Los Blancos since the start of last season and has formed a strong midfield partnership alongside Luka Modric.
“My relationship with Zidane is extremely strong,” Kroos told an interview with German Football Federation magazine, as reported by Marca.
“He initially instilled a lot of confidence in me and in the two years we have worked together, he has used me in virtually every match, especially the important games.
“He is aware he can rely on me for any match and that regardless of what happens, I will always give my all for the team.
“It’s important for our relationship to be strong not just for Zidane but for me as it allows me to play better and continue being successful.”
