Antoine Griezmann is confident Atletico Madrid can improve their fortunes in front of goal for Saturday’s Madrid derby.
Diego Simeone’s side have netted only 19 goals in 17 appearances across all competitions this season and sit eight points off league leaders Barcelona.
“This is a game for us to win, in our new stadium which will be full and have lots of enthusiasm,” Griezmann told an interview with La Liga.
“It’s a massive game, obviously, not just for the fans and the club but the players too – these are the games you want to play in and make a positive impact, regardless of the result you always learn something.
“We are having problems in front of goal, in training we are doing well in attack but this does not translate to football matches, but we must continue working to improve this.”
