Schick eyes future La Liga move?

Roma forward Patrik Schick admits he wants to join “an even bigger club” in the future and has name-checked Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The 21-year-old joined the Roman club this summer after a successful debut season in Serie A with Sampdoria but has featured only once as a substitute due to injury.

“It’s not really possible to move much higher [than Roma] but there are a few clubs, let’s say Real Madrid, Barcelona or Manchester United,” Schick told Reporter Magazin in his native Czech Republic.

“Money? I take it as motivation, and I hope that in a few years I can move to an even bigger club where logically I’ll be paid even more – that motivation has always helped me a lot.”
