Lenglet linked to Barca move

Sevilla defender Clement Lenglet is the latest defender to be linked to Barcelona, with Aleix Vidal moving the other way ‘key’ in any deal.

The 22-year-old has become a constant fixture in the Andalucian club’s defence after joining from French club Nancy in January this year – making 35 appearances.

Diario Sport report the defender has now emerged as a potential transfer target for the Blaugrana due to his economic availability and the possibility of a swap deal.

Lenglet is reported to have a €30m release clause at Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan while full-back Vidal – a former Sevilla player – is deemed surplus to requirements at the Catalan giants.

Barca are already said to have agreed an €8m deal with Palmeiras defender Yerry Mina for next summer but reportedly want another defender due to the expected departures of Thomas Vermaelen and Javier Mascherano at the end of  the season.
