Line-ups: Spurs-Madrid

Harry Kane returns for Tottenham Hotspur against Real Madrid, who are without Raphael Varane, in the Champions League this evening.

Kane missed Tottenham's 1-0 defeat to Manchester United over the weekend with a hamstring injury, but the striker is back up top, alongside Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli, who missed the match at the Santiago Bernabeu a fortnight ago.

Elsewhere for Mauricio Pochettino's side, Davinson Sanchez comes into central defence, as does Kieran Tripper at right-back, and Eric Dier reverts to midfield.

Madrid, meanwhile, have lost Varane to a muscle problem, so Nacho Fernandez partners Sergio Ramos at centre-back.

Other than that, plus the continued absence of goalkeeper Keylor Navas, it is a full-strength Blancos XI, although Mateo Kovacic and Dani Carvajal are still missing, while Gareth Bale fails to make even the bench against his former club.

These two sides drew 1-1 the last time they met, but the winners in London tonight will qualify for the knockout stages if Borussia Dortmund-APOEL ends in a draw.
