Preview: Malaga-Celta

Basement boys Malaga will be hoping to repeat last season’s 3-0 win against Celta Vigo, who have shown signs of progress under Juan Carlos Unzue.

Malaga boss Michel Gonzalez on his side finally kick-starting their season: “Training has been much better and we’re prepared for a game like this.

“The message has also been passed on to the dressing room. These players are Primera quality because I’ve defended them publicly and private, but now we need to take a step forward.

“We’re ready and good enough to turn the situation around.”

Celta boss Juan Carlos Unzue on facing a deceitful Malaga: “If you look at the table, this match can certainly be a trap.

“I’ve already warned the players that they’ll be facing a very good team and one that don’t have the best of morale. Malaga are a team that do lots of things well.”
