Valencia win nine-goal thriller

Valencia moved up to second in La Liga with a thrilling 6-3 victory in Real Betis in an action-packed, Sunday-night encounter.

The visitors took a seemingly-commanding 4-0 lead with goals from Geoffrey Kondogbia, Goncalo Guedes, Rodrigo and Santi Mina.

However, with 11 minutes remaining Quique Setien’s side stirred and netted three times in five minutes via debutant Joel Campbell, Antonio Sanabria and Cristian Tello.

As the hosts pushed for an incredible equaliser, they were then caught on the break, with clinical finishes from Simone Zaza and Andreas Pereira.

Valencia remain unbeaten in the League this season and are four points behind leaders Barcelona, while Betis slip to ninth.
