Barcelona will reignite their interest in Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho in January following a failed summer pursuit, say reports in Spain.
The Catalan giants saw several summer offers for the Brazilian international rejected but according to El Mundo Deportivo, are willing to offer €80m upfront plus an additional €30m in add-ons this January.
The report states this is a similar deal in both sum and structure which was rejected by the Premier League side in August, whilst also stating the Blaugrana are not willing to negotiate on the price.
However, there is optimism at the Camp Nou that such a deal will eventually go through as they believe this exceeds his market value whilst Liverpool would have time to sign a replacement.
The failed operation to land the 25-year-old was one of a number of summer sagas which saw Barca failed to land their primary transfer targets.
