Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele is confident he can return from injury in half the time of the original four-month schedule.
The 20-year-old sustained a hamstring injury in Saturday’s 2-1 victory for the Blaugrana at Getafe with early diagnosis predicting he would miss between three-and-a-half and four months of action.
“I will be back in two months time,” Dembele captioned an Instagram post, with an image of his teammates wearing tops supporting his recovery ahead of their clash with Eibar.
The Frenchman joined the Catalan giants for an initial €105m in a deal which could reach €145m after add-ons.
