Valencia have completed the season-long loan signing of Inter midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia with an option to buy included.
The French midfielder is Los Che’s fifth arrival of the summer and third in the space of three days following permanent deals for defensive duo Jeison Murillo, also of Inter, and Arsenal’s Gabriel Paulista.
The Nerazzurri were said to be reluctant to strike a deal for the 24-year-old whom they signed two years ago from Monaco in a €36m deal.
Joao Cancelo is on the verge of heading the opposite way and joining the Milanese giants on a season-long loan deal with a purchase option.
Mathew Ryan, Diego Alves, Enzo Perez and Alvaro Negredo are among the high-profile departures from the Mestalla so far this summer.
Los Che are also said to be close to loan deals for Benfica's Goncalo Guedes and Manchester United's Andreas Pereira.
