Valencia want Andreas Pereira on loan

Valencia owner Peter Lim is travelling from Paris to England to reportedly tie up a loan deal for Manchester United playmaker Andreas Pereira.

Lim was in the stands of the Parc des Princes during PSG’s 6-2 triumph over Toulouse on Sunday night and reportedly was completing a loan deal for the club’s winger Goncalo Guedes.

Now Super Deporte claim he is on his way to England to conclude a move for the Brazilian midfielder who spent last season on loan at Granada.

This follows on from numerous English media reports which stated Los Che wanted the 21-year-old for the season, although Jose Mourinho is reportedly reluctant to sanction the deal.

Pereira is said to want first-team football this season and whilst he is far from a regular at Old Trafford, the Portuguese boss has promised him a prominent squad role this season due to the club’s heavy schedule.

“I am very happy that I am back, and I can be part of this team,” said Pereira in July.

“I will try to do my best to stay here, get an important role for the season, to help my team-mates and to impress the manager.

“It boosts me that the people here trust the young players. I am very happy for the young players and I want to be a part of this team as well.”

Valencia have completed the signings of Jeison Murillo and Gabriel Paulista along with completing a loan deal for Geoffrey Kondogbia in a hectic few days for the club.
