Real Betis are close signing Algerian international Youcef Attal after the full-back impressed during a trial at the Seville-based club, say reports.
According to Estadio Deportivo, first team coaches at Los Verdiblancos were impressed by the 21-year-old who plays in Algeria with Paradou AC.
The left-back, who has played on the right hand side of Algeria’s defence, was recommended to Betis by Aissa Mandi – his international teammate.
Attal was handed his international debut in June by Lucas Alcaraz, who last season Coached at Granada, impressing against Guinea in a friendly and Togo in an African Cup of Nations qualifier.
“I know that everything should be resolved this week,” the defender is quoted as saying by Estadio Deportivo.
“Negotiations are ongoing and should close in the next few days.”
