Pizarro to fly to Sevilla this week

Sevilla are set to Tigres midfielder Guido Pizarro to replace Leicester-bound Vicente Iborra, according to reports in Spain.

The Argentine international had been linked with a move to Boca Juniors but he is reportedly set to travel to Seville this week to finalise his move to the Andalucians.

Diardio de Sevilla report the Mexican club Tigres made a last –ditch attempt to persuade the 27-year-old to stay at the club but his heart is set on a move to Los Rojiblancos.

Pizarro reportedly has a €13m release fee in his current contract but sources indicate Sevilla are confident of securing the deal for significantly less.

The report also states deals are close for Sampdoria striker Luis Muriel and Aston Villa full back Jordan Amavi.
