Monchi is reportedly planning to kick-start his Roma revolution with deals for Real Madrid’s Mariano Diaz and Barcelona’s Denis Suarez.
According to AS and reports in Italy, the pair are not in their respective club’s plans next season and could be heading for Roma, where they would be greeted by former Sevilla sporting director Monchi.
Mariano scored five goals in only 302 minutes of football for Madrid last season, and the striker has already received offers from the likes of Benfica, Eintracht Frankfurt and Real Betis.
Denis played 35 times for Barca in 2016-17 but – like his Blancos rival – failed to establish himself and is also a target for Villarreal and Valencia, among other European clubs.
