Gerard Deulofeu has hinted he may reject the chance to return to Barcelona as he would not be able to secure enough first-team opportunities.
The 23-year-old enjoyed a successful stint on loan at AC Milan last season, winning him many plaudits including that of Barca sporting director Robert Fernandez who indicated the club were interested in re-signing him.
"It's going to be a busy summer in my case," Deulofeu told El Mundo Deportivo.
"But I'm relaxed about it all and I'm certain everything will work out well.
"Sometimes I've thought about the future a little bit too much, which has been a mistake. We will see what happens."
Deulofeu has returned to Everton following his spell at the San Siro, but he is likely to leave the club this summer.
