Real Betis are hopeful of tying highly-rated teenager Roberto Gonzalez down to a long-term deal despite strong interest from Manchester United, say reports.
The 16-year-old is rated as one of the most exciting youth prospects in Spain has already visited United’s training ground at Carrington, although ABC de Sevilla state Los Verdiblancos have not given up hope of retaining the attacker.
Originally from Merida, Roberto has also been extensively scouted by Manchester City although any move away from Seville looks set to be to Old Trafford.
The starlet has a €1m release clause at the Estadio Benito Villamarin, although this would increase significantly should he sign a new contract.
