Antoine Griezmann has rated his chances of staying at Atletico Madrid as higher than joining Manchester United this summer.
Speaking on French TV in a broadcast on Monday evening, the forward confirmed he was happy in the Spanish capital but would confirm his future ‘in the next two weeks’.
Appearing on Quotidien, Griezmann replied ‘six’ when asked what his chances of moving to Manchester United were out of ten this summer, after stating a move was ‘possible’.
However, the 26-year-old also said his chances of staying with Atletico were ‘seven’ and replied it would be ‘impossible’ to move to city rivals and La Liga champions Real Madrid.
The French forward has a contract with Atleti to June 2021 but has been subject to speculation of a move this summer, which may be linked to whether or not the club’s FIFA transfer ban is lifted on appeal.
