Lucho: Barca lacked sharpness

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique admitted his side ‘lacked sharpness in the final third’ after going down 0-3 on aggregate against Juventus.

Trailing by three goals from the first leg, the Catalan Coach had insisted before the game his side must ‘attack, attack, attack’ but they registered only one shot on target during the entire match – their first blank at Camp Nou in the competition since May 2013.

“This is football. We wanted to play at a fast pace with many shots on target, but tonight we lacked sharpness in the final third,” the Coach told Mediaset Premium.

“It was a good game between two great teams. I tip my hat to Juventus.

“Can they reach the Final? They have a great Coach, great players and have everything it takes to win the Champions League…

“Having said that, there are other sides who are in a similar position.”
