Real Madrid Isco has moved to confirm he won’t be joining arch rivals Barcelona, after being photographed eating a bag of Barca crisps.
The former Malaga star appeared to make an error of judgement as he was photographed eating crips from a branded bag of the Blaugrana, although he later saved face by stating he wanted to show he would ‘eath them like crisps’.
"I'm not going to Barcelona!! With the photo I wanted to say that we are going to eat them like crisps #HalaMadrid !!" Isco stated on twitter, as he looked to dispel doubts about his future.
"By the way, I have not tried them! They were for my friends, who were trying to create mischief for me."
The 24-year-old's contract at the Bernabeu expires in June 2018 and there has been great speculation regarding his future at the club, with rumours he could switch to Barca.
