Luis Suarez has explained ‘a good striker always knows where the goal is’ after scoring a close-range overhead kick against Sevilla.
The Uruguayan opened the scoring for Luis Enrique’s side on Wednesday evening against an out-of-sorts Sevilla side, before Lionel Messi netted a quick-fire double to settle the game and Barca ran out comfortable 3-0 victors.
"Being a forward, I always know that when the ball is in the box, you have to hit the target," Suarez explained in the press ‘mixed zone’ after the win at Camp Nou.
"There was no room to move, but a good striker always knows where the goal is.
"It was a good performance, typical of a team that's doing well.
"We were aware that by the break we'd experienced a lot of wear and tear, but we also knew that we'll have to play a lot more in this stage of the season."
