Luis Suarez believes Barcelona’s vital late victory at Atletico Madrid shows they ‘have the ambition to fight for the title’.
The Uruguayan striker assisted the opener for Rafinha and despite Diego Godin’s headed equaliser for the hosts, Lionel Messi won the game late on to ensure a fourth successive league triumph for Luis Enrique’s side.
"There's still a lot of league to go but a win here was a boost for our confidence," Suarez told reporters after the game in Madrid.
"The important thing was to take all three points.
"All the players were on top form. We have shown that we have the ambition to fight for the title.
"We knew that this was a great chance to turn the league around."
