Victor frustrated at lack of goals

Real Betis boss Victor Sanchez del Amo is happy with his side’s recent performances but feels they must be more prolific if they are to win more often.

Los Verdiblancos have only scored one goal in their last four matches and despite keeping six clean sheets from eight at home since Sanchez’s appointment, they remain 14th in La Liga.

“We must start taking our chances and winning matches, although I believe that we aren’t far away and are heading in the right direction,” explained Sanchez ahead of his side’s trip to Granada on Friday night.

"We had 16 shots, but we were not effective, which was the sole reason we did not win a game we deserved to.

"We created lots of chances and that is very important because we have to score goals to win. We have had sixteen shots, but we have not been effective with very clear chances and football dictates that finishing is the difference in the results.

“Roman Zozulya? It's the message that we have sent to a colleague from the beginning. The situation is not at all fair and we hope that a quick solution will be found."
