Andres Iniesta insists Barcelona were always positive even as they went winless, having ended the streak with an emphatic win at Deportivo La Coruna.
Barca routed Depor 8-0 with Luis Suarez scoring four, though the Catalans remain only level on points at the top of La Liga, with Atletico Madrid, and only one clear of Real Madrid.
“The time we went without a win makes us happier. We have the mentality of winning everything,” Iniesta said after the match, AS reports.
“Feelings in the locker room were always very positive and we showed a good image against Valencia, for how we played and the chances we had the feelings were good, although it was clear we didn’t have any luck.
“The atmosphere was always positive. We have a healthy locker room in every way. When things don’t go well the debate is generated outside but you have difficult moments in sport. Let bygones be bygones.
“We need to focus on the four remaining League games so they go as we want them to.”
