Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomeu says the club go to Atletico Madrid for the Champions League quarter-final second leg with confidence.
The Catalans lead 2-1 from the first leg and Bartomeu, speaking prior to lunch with his Atleti counterparts, said he has no doubts about reaching the last four.
“I see the tie as very even, with two great teams, but we come with confidence that we will play a good game and be in the semi-finals,” Sport quotes Bartomeu as saying.
“The mood of the players is good. We expect two very intense weeks. All cules are confident in the team. We have great players and we’ll go out to win the game.
“These games are a pleasure. To see [a vibrant] Vicente Calderon motivates and encourages players, from the home side or the away side.”
