Arda Turan has a big-money offer from China that he’s considering, it’s reported, but Barcelona and Luis Enrique want him to stay.
Sport claims an unnamed Chinese Super League side is interested in the Turkey international and he is tempted by the riches on offer.
But Barca Coach Luis Enrique feels Arda has more to offer than he has shown so far, having been delayed in his debut for La Blaugrana by the club’s transfer embargo.
There’s also a feeling at Camp Nou that selling Arda in the summer, a year after he was bought from Atletico Madrid, would be to acknowledge his signing was a mistake.
Barca would only accept a fee that saw them recoup the money paid to Atletico for the midfielder in the summer of 2015, some €34m plus bonuses.
