‘Barca fighting for success’

Andres Iniesta sees Barcelona ‘fighting for another successful season’ and insists they didn’t get nervy against Arsenal.

La Blaugrana saw off the Premier League side in the Champions League Round of 16 on Wednesday night with a 3-1 home win after a 2-0 away triumph, but could have rocked when Mohamed Elneny scored to make it 1-1 on the night.

“In a game that’s home and away we don’t feel that comfortable, but sometimes you can’t control when the opponent attacks and lets people off the hook,” Iniesta told reporters, according to Mundo Deportivo.

“We have [Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar] in attack, we want to go with them, and to the extent we’ve had a little control, we’ve tried.

“Their goal might create some uncertainty but more off the pitch than on it. When you’re playing you don’t get time to think you might be knocked out. You’re trying to score another goal.

“We’re clear on the things we need to do, sometimes it goes well and sometimes it doesn’t. We have clear objectives and we’re going to fight for another successful season.

“It’s the most beautiful thing, but also the most difficult.”
