Marcelo is included in Real Madrid’s squad for their Champions League last-16 first leg at Roma on Wednesday, but Gareth Bale remains absent.
The left-back missed Los Blancos’ 4-2 victory over Athletic Bilbao in La Liga on Saturday with a shoulder injury, but he has been given the green light to feature against the Italians.
However, there is no such luck for Gareth Bale, who continues to nurse a calf injury – suffered a month ago in the 5-1 win against Sporting Gijon on January 17.
