Enrique: Barca even better in training

Luis Enrique says Barcelona are even better in training than they were in the second half against Celta Vigo, and was fine with Lionel Messi’s penalty pass.

Messi passed for Luis Suarez to score as Celta were beaten 6-1, Barca entering an astonishing second half performance after the scores were level at 1-1 at half time.

“I see these players be even better in training and some things make you stand still,” Enrique said, AS reports, when asked about the performance.

“Playing Celta isn’t an easy match. We lacked finesse in the first half in the final metres. It might seem like an easy game but we’re strengthened by this.

“Historic? I think it’s beautiful. Historic will be when we win trophies.

“The penalty is legal. We all know the famous one, Johan Cruyff. We try to win trophies and in addition have fun.

“Disrespect? Who talk about that? We have to respect our team. This country accepts a kick more than a piece of skill.

“We know why this happens. It will keep happening and we know where it comes from.”
