Luis Enrique says he is “proud of the good and bad” ahead of his 100th game as Barcelona Coach on Sunday against Levante.
Enrique has won 79 of his 99 games at Barca since being appointed in the summer of 2014, and he was quick to pay tribute to his backroom team and squad for helping him to enjoy an historic 18 months in charge.
“I’m proud of the good and bad,” he said at a Press conference.
“[The bad] forms part of my matches as Barca Coach. I only speak of myself, but I’m always referring to my staff.
“My numbers are clearly because we have the best players and, plus the fans, enjoy ourselves.
“I think that after 99 games, we’re en route to becoming more unpredictable.
“They’ve been 99 very intense matches, which we’ve experienced with great difficulty, demand and ability when assessing different situations.
“I’m glad to have got this far, but I believe the past is past and that the best is yet to come.
“It’s an interesting and positive time for us, but I’ll only make evaluations at the end of season.”
