Luis Enrique is ‘delighted’ to see Pep Guardiola take over at Manchester City and predicts success in the Premier League.
Guardiola will replace Manuel Pellegrini in the summer and Enrique said that even though English football is different to Guardiola’s usual style, he anticipates a good experience for his friend.
“I’m delighted. As a lover of football and a friend of Pep, he is fond of challenges and I’m sure it will be a good time for his next club,” Enrique said, AS reports.
“They will be very attractive seasons. We’ll see how he does in a country where his idea isn’t very common in their game. But I’m sure he’ll have success.”
