Real Betis are expected to sign Belgium younger Charly Musonda Jr. on loan from Premier League champions Chelsea.
Estadio Deportivo reports the deal for the 19-year-old will be for the rest of the season and Betis won’t have the option to make the move permanent after that.
Musonda is a left-sided midfielder and the report notes Betis have been searching for a player in that position, sporting director Eduardo Macia having found a practical option in Musonda.
Rayo Vallecano were said to have been interested as well and interim Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink thought enough of Musonda to identify him as a first team player should Pedro Rodriguez have left his month.
