Alves to get China offer?

Reports in Brazil say Dani Alves will be the subject of a big-money approach from Chinese football to leave Barcelona.

Globo Esporte claim an unnamed Chinese Super League team will try to tempt the defender from Camp Nou with the promise of a €10m-a-year, three-year contract.

It would be a significant raise for Alves, and it’s noted that he now has competition for his place under Luis Enrique after Aleix Vidal was able to be registered.

Alves turns 33 in May and has been a Barca player since a 2008 move from Sevilla, making more than 350 appearances for La Blaugrana.

He has claimed five titles in his Barca career, as well as three Champions Leagues, three Copas del Rey, and three Club World Cups, among other pieces of silverware.
