Pep Guardiola has apologised for revealing he wanted a Premier League job after speculation regarding posts already filled.
Guardiola in late 2015 confirmed he would be leaving Bayern Munich and targeting England for next season, leading to rumours linking him to positions at Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to offend anyone. In my career as a player and a Coach I think I’ve been very respectful to my colleagues,” he said, Marca reports.
“Of course I’m focused on Bayern. Where I’ll be next year doesn’t change anything. I can’t answer about my future because when I’ve signed there’ll be an announcement…or maybe not.”
