Sevilla, Inter in Ranocchia talks

Sevilla and Inter are talking about a six-month loan and obligatory purchase deal for defender Andrea Ranocchia.

Estadio Deportivo reports the clubs have good relations and a move is being discussed, though there are two options on the table.

The first is the loan until the end of the season, once the transfer window opens. In this scenario Ranocchia would move to Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan at the end of the campaign, for a fee possibly between €6m and €7m.

No price has been confirmed but Estadio Deportivo speculates on the amount based on what Inter asked when Roma expressed interest in the 27-year-old.

The other option would be in the event Sevilla baulked at the price in the summer, and would see an 18-month loan deal arranged.

Sevilla would take over Ranocchia’s contract until the end of the 2016-17 season, with the defender receiving around €2m-a-year at San Siro.
