‘PSG a good team for Ronaldo’

Former Portugal and Paris Saint-Germain striker Pauleta believes Cristiano Ronaldo would find a home in France if he wanted out of Real Madrid.

Pauleta, who was Portugal’s record goal scorer before Ronaldo broke his record, told Radio Marca that Ronaldo would settle in nicely if he chose to join the Ligue 1 champions.

“PSG would be a good team for Cristiano,” he is quoted as saying.

“They’re one of the few teams that could sign him and who has the quality to improve the level of the team.

“Cristiano is impressive in the way he continues training as he trains after having won anything.”

Former Salamanca and Deportivo La Coruna forward Pauleta added that he expects a better match between Madrid and PSG at Santiago Bernabeu than was played out at Parc des Princes.

“We’ll see more of a show than in Paris, which was disappointing from the two teams,” he acknowledged.”
