Reports in Italy say Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio was present as to watch Angel Correa score for Atletico Madrid against Benfica.
AS cites a claim by Tuttosport that says the administrator was there for the young Argentine, who scored on his first Champions League start as Atletico lost 2-1.
Correa wasn’t the only player on Ausilio’s agenda, however as both left-backs on show, Guilherme Siquiera and Nelson Semedo, were watched as well.
The trip to Madrid was part of a longer stay in Spain for Ausilio, as he was also spotted watching Barcelona’s win over Bayer Leverkusen.
