Luis Enrique didn’t deny Celta Vigo deserved their 4-1 win over Barcelona, commending the victors for their effectiveness.
Iago Aspas scored twice and there was a goal each for Nolito and John Guidetti, Neymar on the score sheet for the Catalans on a chastening night.
“It only remains to congratulate Celta. They played a very complete game, in terms of effectiveness and their football,” Enrique said, Marca reports.
“We suffered a lot in the individual duels. The first goal for Nolito went into the top corner, the second was our mistake.
“I’m not happy to lose 4-1. I’ll evaluate and analyse it. It’s a test to show how difficult it can be.
“This result will be useful to tell us that it costs a lot to win. I prefer it when a team wins like Celta did, playing well. They’re one of the most attractive.”
Enrique was also asked about a perceived lack of options in his squad due to injuries and the transfer embargo.
“I have the alternatives I have, I’m not missing anything. This is my squad and I’m delighted to have it,” he replied.
