Marcelo has sung the praises of Rafa Benitez, saying the Coach is making the Real Madrid squad into better players.
Benitez was appointed at the end of last season to replace Carlo Ancelotti and started his tenure with a goalless draw at Sporting.
“We didn’t play our best game but we’re taking the positives to get better,” the left-back said of the League opener, AS reports.
“It was only the first game and we have a lot of time ahead of us.
“The squad feels good. [Benitez] is a great Coach and he’s competitive. He talks to us a lot and shows us where we can all improve. He’s on top of it to make us better.
“I’m always trying to improve. I’m at the biggest club in the world and that means I always give a lot for the supporters.”
