Eduardo Berizzo has reiterated that Celta Vigo expect to keep Nolito from Barcelona's clutches following Sunday's 2-1 win at Levante in La Liga.
The forward – who has been heavily linked with a return to Barcelona – played the entirety of the Galicians' trip to Ciutat de Valencia, which was made worthwhile thanks to goals from Fabian Orellana and Iago Aspas.
“To start off with a win is great, but ultimately [Levante's red card] wasn't an advantage because we had a lot of possession but didn't create many chaces,” the Coach said after the game.
“We lacked speed in our attacks and won on the basis of a refereeing decision.
“We're counting on [Nolito] to stay with us, and hopefully August 31 will be an uneventful day.”
