Sofiane Feghouli claims Valencia were always in control of Wednesday's 3-1 Champions League playoff victory over Monaco.

“We knew it would be difficult, they're very good opponents and have already started their League ,” he told AS after the match.
“Physically we knew it would be difficult, especially at the end, but the team showed humility, character and experience.
“It's a good result and now we're playing to regain [our best form] and must congratulate one another.
“We controlled the game well, and although we still have to take care of the [remaining] details, this result gives us confidence for the return leg.”
