Reports in England quote a Manchester United source complaining Sergio Ramos has used the Premier League club to get a better contract at Real Madrid.
Ramos has been strongly linked with Old Trafford throughout the summer after a reported falling out with Madrid, in particular President Florentino Perez.
The Daily Star has however claimed that an unnamed person at United believes Ramos has manipulated the situation to win an improved deal at Santiago Bernabeu.
Ramos was reportedly unhappy with the revised contract he was offered by Madrid and the situation spiralled from there.
Madrid have turned down United’s approaches for the centre-back and it was on Tuesday reported that Perez and Ramos had reached a truce.
Perez and Ramos reportedly agreed to talk about a contract when all parties are back in Madrid after the club’s summer tour, leading the source to complain of a ‘betrayal’ by Ramos.
