Paris Saint-Germain have denied “totally false” reports of a €120m bid for Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Speculation in the Arabic-speaking media on Sunday claimed that PSG had a world-record offer for the 30-year-old rejected by Los Blancos, but the French giants have since made it clear that no such proposal was delivered to the player’s club.
“It’s totally false,” a PSG spokesperson told Marca.
Despite UEFA lifting the Ligue 1 holders’ Financial Fair Play restrictions, Ronaldo is not understood to be in their transfer plans, with only his former Madrid teammate Angel Di Maria presently on the agenda.
