Sevilla have completed the signing of Mariano from Bordeaux for a fee believed to be in the region of €3m.
The Brazilian right-back, 29, passed a medical on Monday morning, before putting pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Europa League winners.
According to Sevilla’s official website, the player will be presented at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on Tuesday.
Mariano joined Bordeaux in January 2012 and went on to become a mainstay in the French club’s defence, also winning the 2013 Coupe de France.
